Windows 10 Version 1709 ISO Download Available Soon
While Microsoft is usually known as straight forward company, these couple of days have been nothing but confusing for fans. Microsoft released the Windows 10 Insider Preview build 16296 ISO on October 3rd and everyone was left confused. The reason behind this is that as every Microsoft fan already knows, this is not the final build of the Fall Creators Update or Windows 10 version 1709.
Windows Insider Preview 16296
Even though this major software update might not be the final and public version of Windows 10, it does show us that Microsoft is getting closer to a final product. However, the question that’s sitting in everyone’s mind right now is why would Microsoft release this build now? This is a tough question to answer and we might need to wait for Microsoft itself to release a statement.
No New Features
Nonetheless, the first time that Windows Insider Preview 16296 was issued was back on September 22nd when it arrived in the Fast Ring. This happened nearly two weeks ago and it brought a bunch of important bug fixes with it. Despite taking care of some annoying bugs, Windows Insider Preview 16296 didn’t include any new features.
Windows 16299
After releasing the previously mentioned update to the Fast Ring, Microsoft decided to issue another update and this time it bumped up the version to 16299 on September 27th. Things don’t end there since Microsoft quickly released another version of Windows 10 Insider Preview that featured the 1699.15 build number.

All in all, seeing how quick Microsoft is rolling out new updates to its Windows Insider Preview, we think it’s safe to say that a final Windows 10 version 1709 is coming our way. Therefore, everyone should expect Microsoft to come out with some big news during the upcoming days.
