Unfortunately Google Play Store Has Stopped
Have you ever encountered an annoying error before saying that your Google Play Store has stopped on your Android device? There is no perfect software and Google Play Store being a repository of thousands upon thousands of apps is no exemption owing to the unlimited variables that come into play when you have something as big as this Android App Repository. It can seem very frustrating at first, but there are already proven and tested ways on how to handle this error and so there is no need to go and find an IT technician just yet.
The first thing you might want to do is to ask yourself whether you did something major to your Android device before encountering this error. Recall if there was a system upgrade that you approved of or if you had to update an application (or maybe even Google Play Store itself got updated). If you did any of this then that would tell us that something within the system changed that caused the Google Play Store to crash, which means all we have to do is reverse the process in order to fix the error. This is usually the case when you have recently downloaded an App that may not be fully compatible with your device.
There are a few things you could do in order to fix this error. (The prescribe fixes are not given in order.)
Update To the Latest Google Play Store.
Usually Google Play Store automatically updates but in this case since Google Play Store Crashes you have to manually download the APK from this site: http://www.apkreleases.com/tag/google-play-services/
Clear Google Play Store Cache.
In some cases all you need to do is to clear the cache of Google Play Store. This can be found in the Settings option of your android phone under Apps. Look for Google Play Store and click “Clear Cache.”
Delete Apps.
If none of that worked then you might want to delete some apps starting from the most recent one you have installed.
Since there are thousands upon thousands of pages on topics relating to Google Android, if none of these work then a simple Google search might help you find what you are looking for. Learn about Google Play Store alternatives right here.
