We already hear this name more and more often when it comes to mobile phones: Snapdragon 865 Plus. The launch will also take place in the fairly near future and naturally we are starting to see tests. Thus, the new processor has been tested in AnTuTu and the results are amazing. The test was run on the Lenovo Legion gaming phone, so without further ado, let’s take a look at the results.
In short, Lenovo Legion with Snapdragon 865 Plus, 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB storage gets a score of 648,871 points in AnTuTu. In addition to the impressive result, the testing software also revealed the processor configuration. Snapdragon 865 runs the Kryo 585 Prime core at 2.84Ghz. In the Plus version, it is clocked at 3.09GHz; a pretty good improvement that will make its presence felt. Otherwise, the other cores are identical between the two chipsets.
Unfortunately, we don’t have detailed information about the video card. But rumors say that the Adreno 650 from Snapdragon 865 Plus would have increased frequencies, and that makes sense. Especially if we take into account the refresh rate of the display on Lenovo Legion, 144Hz.
We can only wait for the official announcement from Qualcomm. It should come soon, especially since ASUS posted a mini-teaser now deleted, which shows that ROG Phone 3 will also use Snapdragon 865 Plus. This will make it without a doubt the most powerful mobile platform.
