The Sims 5 To Come in 2019
It seems that 2017 is the year of sequel news and rumors. After the uncertain, but somewhat set future of the next installment in the Grand Theft Auto Series, now it’s time for a bit more news on The Sims 5, the possible follow up to the current game in the series, namely the Sims 4 game. Hardcore fans of this beloved life simulation game have been speculating on The Sims 5 game for what feels like ages now, but realistically speaking it’s only been a few months.
The Sims 5 Might Come in 2019
Still, more and more rumors keep flooding the Internet, even though the game’s developers and publishers haven’t given any official statement on this matter as of yet. The only thing they’ve told us so far is that the release of The Sims 5 depends on how The Sims 4 performs on the market. Thus, if the latter does well, the former might be released as soon as 2019. But if it doesn’t perform at a satisfactory level and it doesn’t gather enough revenue for the companies involved in its creation and distribution, then The Sims 5’s game future is uncertain at best.
Sims 4 Expansions Receive Poor Public Reviews
And while The Sims 4 is generally appreciated by the public, its most recent expansions are not. In fact, the Fitness Stuff Pack and the Parenthood Game Pack have been widely criticized by Sims 4 players around the world, in spite of the initial excitement that the releases have been met with. These unsatisfactory public reviews might delay the development and release of the Sims 5 game, or it might even stop it altogether. We sure do hope that won’t be the case, but then again we can never know for sure.
