The Sims 4: ‘Cats & Dogs’ Expansion Will Include Pets With Traits and Quirks

Sims players across the world will have some new content added to Sims 4 by the end of this year. They will see that their pets will be unpredictable, making the game more interesting with the ‘Cats & Dogs’ expansion.

On the official website, the developers have explained how the pets that come in the ‘Cats & Dogs’ expansion will have a different behavior: they will have unique personalities, they will communicate with their Sims whenever they need something, for example the dogs will carry their bowls to their owners to get food.

Traits and Quirks Make the Expansion Adorable!

Before the developers thought of adding traits and quirks to pets, players had full control over their pets and it turned out to be exhausting to manage so many things at the same time.

Traits will show you the personality of your pet and how it acts in your Sim’s presence. You can have it set to active / independent or both, with more traits to come in the expansion.

Quirks represent those odd things that you usually see pets perform. Similar to the real – life pets that have their own quirks, the pets from in the ‘Cats & Dogs’ expansion will start thinking for themselves and perform actions on their own. This doesn’t mean that players won’t be able to control them, as they can teach them tricks and give them toys to play with. When a player will not interact with the pets, they will do things on their own.

Developers have gathered and talked about how their real-life pets act and they told stories of their pets in order to have some guidance for this expansion.

There isn’t much time until 10 November, when The Sims 4: “Cats & Dogs” expansion pack will be released. And we’re waiting for it to be as amazing, cute and funny/furry, as the developers have described it!
