Samsung Security Patches Available for Galaxy S8, S8 Plus and J7 Pro
The South Korean company has been very quick to release security patched for several of its devices. Some of the smartphones to receive a security update is Galaxy S8 (G950FXXU1AQI9 version software) and the S8 Plus (G950FXXU1AQI9 version software). The update weights around 429.90MB.
Samsung has also paid attention to mid-range phones such as Galaxy J Pro, which has the J730GMUBU2AQJ2 version.

The company decided to release the update for the S8 and S8 Plus in Europe and afterwards spread it among the globe in the following day. The new update also brings Dex Mode and security improvements.
The Galaxy J7 Pro update starts in Mexico and soon enough it will be available worldwide.
The recommendations before installing the security update is to make sure the phone has plenty of free space and the update should be downloaded when the device is connected to a Wi-Fi instead of Mobile Data.
Samsung owners are also interested in the arrival of the big operating system updates. There is no official announcement yet as to when they will be released, but Android 8.0 Oreo will be for sure used in at least a couple smartphones.
