Samsung Galaxy A3 Gets Latest Android Nougat With New Improvements
Are you ready for the launch of Android O this fall? The new installment of the beloved mobile operating system might even come as early as late August, so prepare for it. However, if your phone still didn’t receive Android Nougat, you might be wondering what is going to happen when Android O launches. The future is uncertain in this respect, unfortunately. But at least we’ve got some good news for today: the Samsung Galaxy A3 smartphone in its 2017 edition is now getting Android 7.0 Nougat.
The OS update for the Samsung Galaxy A3 is rolling out over the air only in Russia so far, but it will soon come to other countries as well, so don’t worry. Needless to say, the Samsung Galaxy A3 is a pretty popular phone in both Europe and the US, and this popularity is mainly due to its affordable price points and amazing specs (for the price at least). So why didn’t the Samsung Galaxy A3 get Nougat until now?
Well, the answer is simple, but also sad. Unfortunately, Android has always rolled out this way. While some phones were lucky enough to get new versions early on, others had to wait for what seemed like ages. Still, Android 7.0 Nougat has to be one of the slowest versions of the mobile operating system ever to roll out. Truth be told, we’ve never seen anything like it. But still, it’s good news that the Samsung Galaxy A3 is finally getting an update to Android 7.0 Nougat.
The rolling out process for the Samsung Galaxy A3 started on June 26th, so the new OS had a full week to reach phones. If it didn’t reach yours, please check in your phone’s Settings menu and install the update manually.
