Overwatch FREE Weekend to Start on September 22, 2017
Overwatch is a team-based first-person shooter video game that has been developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment. The game was released back in May 2016 for Windows PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
In Overwatch there are two teams of six players, where each player will be able to select a character from a roster. The characters are divided into four general categories: Support, Tank, Defense and Offense.
If you’ve not purchased the game yet, you have a chance to test it out the next weekend for FREE. Blizzard has made an official announcement saying that Overwatch will be available for anyone that owns a Windows PC, Xbox One or PlayStation 4 console. The FREE weekend will start on September 22, 2017 and it will end on September 25, 2017.
We have to remind you that this is NOT the first free weekend for the Overwatch game. The game had other free weekends in September 2016, November 2016 and May 2017. Likewise the other free weekends, you will be able to play with all the 25 heroes across 16 maps in Quick Play, Arcade modes and Custom games. You have the ability to level up, earn loot boxes and get some awesome customizations rewards.
To make things even better, if you decide to purchase the game after the free weekend, all the progress you’ve made will be transferred to the account (as long as you will use the same account).
The free Overwatch weekend starts next Friday at 11:00 AM PDT/2:00 PM EDT and it will be available in ALL regions on consoles. However, the Windows PC players will be able to play the Overwatch game for free only if they live in Europe, Asia (excluding Korea) or America.
