OnePlus has started to “get out of the house” about the new OnePlus 8T 5G, the model that will be launched this fall. But it seems that it will come alone, without a OnePlus 8T Pro model. Most likely, the OnePlus 8 Pro model will remain on offer as the company’s premium solution, while the new model will replace the OnePlus 8. The company has already announced the launch date and is already starting to confirm certain capabilities of the model, while Amazon mistakenly revealed the price at which the OnePlus 8T could be launched.
OnePlus 8T will be launched in just a few weeks
The Chinese manufacturer has announced that on October 14 it will hold an online presentation event in which it will officially talk about the OnePlus 8T. This event could take place only one day after Apple could announce the new iPhone 12 models, according to the latest rumors.
The latest leaks regarding the OnePlus 8T suggest a new design for the camera module, aligned more with the rest of the industry, with a rounded rectangle on the left side of the glass cover. Otherwise, the design of the phone could remain unchanged, with a curved display at the edges and a cutout in the upper left corner for the front camera.
However, OnePlus is already starting to confirm some features of the phone. For example, this model will come with a screen at 120 Hz, as expected, along with a new charging system. It is about doubling the power from 30 to 65W through Warp Charge. It seems that the OnePlus 8T, like the devices in the Oppo range, will adopt a power supply system with two internal batteries, each of them being powered at 32.5W, for a total of 65W. Thus, the phone could be charged in just a few minutes.
According to a listing on Amazon, OnePlus 8T could start at 599 euros, a decent price for a phone with top specifications with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. The higher version, with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage could reach 699 euros. We will find out the full details about the OnePlus 8T on October 14th.
