Moto X Play Comes with Latest Android Nougat Update
Motorola had some issues with Android updates lately. However, it appears that the company got its act together and now the Moto X Play will receive Android Nougat very soon. At first he update will be available for users in India, but it should reach the rest of the world afterwards. We do not know yet if the phone will get Android 7.0 Nougat or Android 7.1.1.
The news has been officially confirmed by Motorola India in a tweet: “Nougat will come to the Moto X Play soon, however, we are unable to provide a definite release date. -JM” We do not know the exact date, but they will probably release it soon. The tweet was posted back in June, so it probably won’t take too long until we will see Android Nougat on Moto X Play.

Update is now available in India as I already installed it on 4th October.
