Minecraft Patch 4 Comes with New Bug Fixes
Minecraft has received two important updates recently, one for the Nintendo Switch and One for the Wii U. The Wii U update is known as Patch 4, and the details for it, as well as the Switch update, have been published on the official Minecraft forum. Let’s see what’s new.
New on Wii U and Switch
- Llamas that can be tamed and ridden;
- Parrots that you can wear on your shoulder;
- Woodland Mansions;
- Explorer Maps for Ocean Temples;
- Observer Blocks;
- Find Balanced Seed option;
- Mini Game Heroes Skin Pack;
- 7 New Achievements;
- Biome Scale Slider;
- Totem of Undying;
- Curses of Binding and Vanishing;
- Dyeable beds;
- Display of status effect on HUD;
- Spawn Eggs for Elder Guardians, Strays, Husks, Zombie Villagers, Skeleton Horses, Zombie Horses and Wither Skeletons;
- Textures for Mule and Donkey Spawn Eggs;
- Bouncy beds;
- Carpet and snow layers for upside-down stairs;
- Iron bars, fences and glass panes visually connect.
Bug Fixes for Wii U and Switch
The update also came with some valuable and much-needed bug fixes. Let’s have a look at them:
- Dual wielded items are lost when you die;
- Sleeping with an elytra;
- Slime Block Glitch;
- Villager trading broken;
- Tutorial World;
- Wrong textures;
- Donkeys don’t spawn;
- Game freezes;
- Too low squid spawning limit;
- Invisible chat box;
- Pistol translocation won’t work in future versions;
- Weapon durability issue when interface opacity is set on low;
- And a few others.
All in all, the Patch 4 changed up a lot of things about Minecraft on both the Wii U and the Nintendo Switch consoles. And the many bug fixes it came with are also good news for all Minecraft players out there. All in all, this was a pretty solid update from what we can see from the released details.
