Rockstar has released their latest GTA in September 2013 and until now, even though GTA V Online is still getting content and still has a big player base, fans around the world have started asking for the next GTA. It’s been 4 years and in the meantime so many rumors have gathered that we don’t even know what is true and what is fantasy.
So we gathered the top rumors that seem plausible and made a list for fans to look at it and dream until GTA VI will be officially announced.

A source close to Rockstar has pointed out that the developer team is working on improving the FPS for a future GTA, and that the first person experience will look less artificial. We get it that Rockstar is currently working on Red Dead Redemption 2 but if some work heads to GTA 6, there is hope!
One of the most circulated rumor is that GTA VI will feature all the cities that have appeared in the previous GTA games. The map in GTA VI is going to be large and epic but in order to feature all the old maps, there’s going to require a lot of programming. Maybe Rockstar will launch something bigger and newer, who knows?
Fans might get hit by nostalgia if the rumor according to which all the characters from all GTA games will unite in GTA VI will turn into reality. Rockstar has done this more than once in their GTA sequels so it’s not impossible but to feature all the characters in a single game is a little too much.
There are some reports that suggest GTA VI to have system requirements that will be available on next generation of consoles, so the game will be playable on PlayStation 4 Pro and a next generation of Xbox One.
A majority of settings have been American but rumors point to a London location as a setting for GTA VI. We’ll have to see if the London location will be added to other cities or it will be the only location. Having a location base in England sounds popular but as buying guns in Britain is a bit impossible, it will make the plot a little difficult and inaccurate. The next GTAV VI could continue the American setting after all.
There have been speculations that the new GTA will come as an online game only. The rumor comes from the obvious trend of online video games that are played and streamed at the same time. There’s no doubt that GTA VI will use the online play more than GTA V but Rockstar is also known for creating a great story and we’re sure that they will work on a single player version too, in order to continue the GTA universe.
In order to improve the GTA VI universe and enlarge the setting, there is no doubt that GTA VI may also add time travel in their story and gameplay. In GTA Vice City, the PC version that has the Hill Valley mode we see time travel too.
Looking at that Rockstar is now working on, we’re going to have to wait for a long time for the next GTA VI. Red Dead Redemption 2 hasn’t been released, so GTA VI isn’t even in the picture yet. Don’t expect for it in 2019 or even in 2020. The year we could place our bets is 2021, because Rockstar is known to delay their games in order to give us a perfect game that they can be proud of.
