Google Pixel 2 vs. Google Pixel 2 XL – The Battle of Pixel Phones
Now that Google had its event in California we can talk about its new Pixel phones: Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. The first difference you notice is the size, since one is little and one is large.. But before you order any of them, let’s take a look at all their features.
Design and colors
Besides, their sizes there are other noticeable differences. First of all, the Pixel 2 will be available in three colors: Just Black, Clearly White and Kinda Blue. On the other side, Google Pixel 2 XL will have only two colors: Black and White, and Just Black. These versions come with different power buttons as well, and the colors vary from orange to blue.
The dimensions for Google Pixel 2 are 5.7×2.7x0x3 inches, and for Google Pixel 2 XL 6.2×3.0x0.3 inches. The Google Pixel weights 143 g and the Google Pixel 2 XL weights 175 g. None of the phones have the headphone jack and the speakers have been moved to the front of the phones.
Display
he Google Pixel 2 has a 5-inch display and 1920 x 1080 pixels, while Google Pixel 2 XL has a 6-inch display and 2,880 x 1,440 pixels. The Pixel 2 pixel density is 441 ppi and the pixel density for Pixel 2 XL is 538 ppi.
Price
They are already available for preorder today. Google Pixel has two versions: the 64 GB one that costs $649 (£629, AU$1,079) and the 128 GB one that costs $749 (£729, AU$1,229). Meanwhile, Pixel 2 XL has a 64 GB version that is available for $849 (£799, AU$1,399) and a 128 GB one $949 (£899, AU$1,549). Preorders in Australia begin October 20.
