Google Maps is one of the most used applications on mobile devices out there. It comes with many features and options and it allows you to easily get from a place to another using public transportation, your car, your bicycle etc.
However, if you are using Google Maps to travel by your car, then we have some good news for you. It seems that a new feature has been released to the application that currently works only in the UK and US, but it is expected to be released in other countries too. According to Blorge.com, the new feature is allowing you to check your trip and see if the travel time will change over the course of a few hours. This way, you will be able to easily plan your trip and avoid traffic jam.
This is also awesome if you plan to go somewhere around rush hour. Based on the data that Google Maps provides, you will be able to see if it is better to just leave to your destination right away or just wait one hour before you do so.
We think that Google should also add this kind of feature for the people who depend on public transit. We remind you that “HereWeGo maps” is already supporting it, and it is great for those who use public transportation daily. Let’s not forget that most of the tourists that are visiting popular cities around the world are using the public transportation.
