[Download] Best Google Apps for your Android Device

There are literally thousands of applications available on the Google Play Store, with a wide selection of top tier, quality content at your disposal. Whether you’re looking for useful tools, games or content players, you can find pretty much anything on the Play Store. However, what you might not realize is that some of the very best applications are already included in the Android experience. There are numerous Google apps that represents a must have for any Android phone. They are extremely useful apps and not having them installed is just a detriment.

Google Search

This is a service integrated into your OS from the get-go and you can use it to navigate around the operating system, the local files and internet. If you’re not in the mood for a lot of typing, you can use the voice command feature installed in Google Search to ask the phone questions via voice, or give it commands as to what to do next.  You can do most things, from setting alarms and reminders to turning on apps and getting information online.

Google Drive

The Google Drive app is tied to the Google Drive cloud storage service. If you are a Google user there is no doubt about it: you must have a Google Drive account because it’s free and it’s extremely useful. You can store any content you want and you get a pretty hefty storage limit for free. You can thus have access to all your important files and folders from anywhere with an internet connection. When you’re on your phone, you can access your account with the Google Drive app.

Google Play Music

Google Play Music has been through quite a few changes but its newest iteration is a great alternative for some of the other music streaming services out there. It’s a neat application that lets you have instant access to all of your favorite artists and albums, and more. The best thing about using Google Play Music is that you’re keeping it all in the Google family and you benefit from the direct sync between the app and all your other Google services.

Gmail

Emailing remains the most popular means of digital communication even to this day. As a result, you need an emailing application on your phone if you are going to use it at max efficiency. There is no better option in this regard than Gmail. It integrates great with your account, since you’re probably already a Gmail user and if not, it’s the best time to give it a try. It’s a really solid emailing service and the app is filled with features and tools to manage, organize and review emails both sent and received.

Google has went the extra mile, so to speak, and on top of providing an awesome operating system, it has also delivered a slew of extremely useful applications that fit in perfectly into the Android ecosystem.
