Minecraft just received an update at the end of this month on PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 and players are in for good news. 4J Studios just added support for Strangers: Biome Settles 3 Skin Pack and Glide Myths Track Pack. This update is available at the moment in Europe and Japan, but it certainly will be arriving in North America soon. It was also confirmed that Glide Myths is priced at £2.49 and the Skin Pack at £1.69. The patch notes for the Minecraft’s latest update 1.56 include a few additions, general information about what is new in the game, as well as multiple fixes. Additions The two major additions to the game are Strangers: Biome Settles 3 Skin Park and Glide Myths Track Pack. The PlayStation Store invites its players to stretch their wings and drift through the clouds of Icarus, dive into conflict in Excalibur and ride with the Kelpies in Celts with the new Minecraft Glide Track Pack. General When it comes to changes regarding Observers, they should not output signals when water or lava is placed in front of them; they should not output extra signals for fire block state changes; they should register changes to Flower Pots, Doors and Item Frames. Other changes include: durations for Potion was changed, Pistons can push Daylight Sensors, String can be crafted from Web, crafting any type of Boat requires Wooden Shovel, Strays flee from Wolves, Polar Bears should not attack the player when in peaceful mode, and Wither Skeletons no longer fear daylight and will attack anything. Fixes The update also focused on addressing a few problems like: fixing the area in the Mini Game Lobby that made players become invulnerable in the Mini Game if they were located in this area when the round started; fixing the problem with Farmer Villagers not planting seeds often enough, fixing slow moving mobs in water; fix for Pick Block in Creative; fix for Levitation effect all in Capitals; fix for hotbar not being centered in split-screen battle and fix for zombies getting stuck in water.
