Access Google Play Store on MIUI 9
The Chinese company Xiaomi uses its own software on its devices and this can come with various advantages for the user. However, the latest MIUI 9 China Rom lacks something that many users will miss. Use a BackUp version
First of all you will need to download the Google Play Store backup file. Go to your browser and download the file from this link.
Extract the files and move them to the MIUI backup folder that can be found under Internal Storage > MIUI backup > AllBackup.
Go to Settings > Additional > Settings > Backup and Reset > Local Backup and tap it.
You will have to wait for a couple of minutes and then reboot the device. That should be all. Now you will have Google Play Store and Google Play Services available on your Xiaomi device.
Use an APK file
Before we start you should download this apk file.
Go to Additional settings > Privacy > Unknown Sources and enable downloads from unknown sources. You can disable this option after you install what you need.
Now you can finally install the APK file. You should find it in the file manager of your phone. Tap it and the Google Installer file should open up. When it’s done select Install and wait until the installation is complete, is should not take more than 2-5 minutes. Make sure that you have an active Internet connection during the installation process. A stable Wi-Fi network is recommended, but you cellular data should also work.
When it is done all you have to do is reboot your Xiaomi phone and you should have Google Play Store back.
